Katalin Czégé
Katalin, the artist, the architect, the compassionate, curious explorer of human experiences. The creative side of the business.
Katalin brings together, creative direction, strategic thinking, and an understanding of how people work best. She is particularly interested in what happens when we move between analytical and creative ways of thinking.
Katalin creates experiences that give people permission to explore, experiment, and approach familiar things from a different perspective.
Christian Scardaville
Christian brings nearly two decades of hospitality experience, along with his background in nursing, to Echoes of the Château.
Christian’s understanding that a great retreat is built around more than the setting is key. The details, the welcome, the food, the conversation, and the feeling that someone has thought carefully about your experience is what makes a difference.
Together, Katalin and Christian bring two different disciplines to the same idea:

The Creative Retreat, available throughout the year, offers a week-long program for up to 15 people. The week is a carefully crafted blend of creative inspiration, hospitality, local culture, culinary experiences, and community connection. Absolutely no creative experience is necessary.
We bring out your creative side, help you focus your mind to be able to access the proactive renewed energy you always had.

We believe that people do some of their best thinking when they have space to step away from the constant demands of work and everyday life.
Particularly people who spend their lives leading, building, creating, and making decisions. Sometimes minds are rarely given the opportunity to become quiet enough for something different to emerge.
Creative practice provides another way in.
At Echoes of the Château, we use creativity as a tool for stepping outside familiar patterns, changing the pace of our thinking, and creating room for new ideas and perspectives.
The experience is designed to stay with you after you leave. Something you can return to whenever you need to step back, reset your thinking, and see what is in front of you differently.
